Stacie

Today I wrote the senior blessing for Stacie, my youngest. Hard to imagine how the years fly by. She is a good kid, and a fine young woman. As I type this she is going over her choices for Senior Pictures with her mom. She has had her moments when we were soooo frustrated with her, but that's true of all kids, I imagine. I wouldn't trade her off for anything, and will miss her when she leaves home more than I can easily tell her. I love her as a daughter, a friend and a sister. I guess that's love times 3...

She is a darling girl and I know she's a fantastic daughter. You and Gail have truly brought her up in the way of love. I love all three of you...also love times 3. :)

We went last night to the Huddle Senior Blessing. It WAS a blessing. What a group of people!
I guess I need reminders once in a while how all the inter-connectedness pays off in our kids. It seems there is about a five year period when our kids are growing up when we parents become idiots. During those 5 years, it is good to know that someone we can trust is holding our end up with our kids until we reach the point where we have a clue again.

Three years since you wrote this and now Stacie, your beautiful Stacie, is now a married woman.
It was a sweet, tender wedding with moments of humor and nostalgia. All through it your beautiful Stacie beamed and smiled, she was so happy and joyful.
Looking at this blog written as she left High School, joining it with her marriage to a great young man from an equally joyful family, like you and Gail, that has also hung in there, building and protecting their union in marriage .... my prayer for Stacie and Nat is that they will one day together give their child to another in holy matrimony. May that day be as gentle, sweet and God glorifying as Saturday's wedding was.

I love all of you, yes also love times 3!!
